The Beano comic was launched on July 30th 1938 and is still running to this day. Due its longevity, The Beano with its stable mate, The Dandy, has been read by many generations of people. Mention 'The Beano' too many people of various ages and their eyes will light up as they regale you of the stories they read as a children.
